I'm Phong Nguyen

Hello, I'm Phong Nguyen, a University of Rochester student majoring in Film and Media Studies.
Originally from Hanoi, Vietnam, I developed a passion for the arts early on through ballroom dancing and television appearances. Growing up, I dreamed of becoming an actor, inspired by the power of storytelling in both Hollywood and international cinema. However, realizing the lack of Asian representation on screen, I shifted my focus behind the camera to create the stories I longed to see. Today, I’m dedicated to crafting meaningful narratives that celebrate diverse voices and challenge perspectives through film, television, and other artistic fields.
